5K COMPETITIVE RUN OR 1-MILE FUN WALK
Participants can run or walk just about anywhere they choose: their neighborhoods, nearby parks, or even on treadmills in the comfort of their own homes!
The first 300 participants will receive race T-shirts, and we will award trophies, medals, giveaways, and prizes to various participant categories! You can participate as an individual or as a team.
(Please note: we encourage participants to follow the city’s COVID-19 safety guidelines in regards to social distancing or other measures effective on May 22. Since this event is virtual, team members can even run in their own respective areas!)
5K competitive runners will have until 11:59 p.m. on May 22 to submit their run time, bib number, and a picture or screenshot of their pedometer for verification to this site, ElPasoRun.org.
All participants can enter our photo contest! Send your running/walking photos to vmolinar@leemoor.org Saturday, May 22 through Sunday, May 23, and we will post them on our Facebook page the next day. The picture that receives the most “likes” by Friday, May 28 will win a prize (TBA)!
INDIVIDUAL ENTRY FEES:
- $20 per person
- $15 for military and students
TEAM ENTRY FEES:
- $15 for each member in a team of at least 10 people
(PLEASE NOTE: There must be a minimum of 10 members per team in order to pay the reduced team member fee. Before reaching 10 members, every person who registers on here will pay $20 until the 10th person registers. Then once the 10th person registers, everyone who registered before that will be reimbursed the difference. The money will go back into the card you made your purchase with.)
